Linda MarsileLinda is a certified instructor in CPR, First Aid, AED, BLS for Healthcare Providers, Bloodborne Pathogens and Pediatric Health and Safety. She is also a Certified Instructor Trainer and Training Center Coordinator for the American Heart Association. She has been on faculty and taught CPR, First Aid and Health and Safety at Rancho Santiago College. She has a college degree in Early Childhood Education and Director Certification for Preschools. Her past experience includes 8 years as a Medical Assistant for Cardiology and Otolaryngology. She was the Southern California Regional Manager for Child Care Coordinating Council, a Child Care Food Program and owner of Yorba Linda-Placentia Mother’s Day Out program for 9 years.
Randy MarsileRandy is a retired Captain/EMT-D from Orange County Fire Authority, after 24 years of service. He is a certified instructor in CPR, First Aid, AED, Healthcare Provider, Bloodborne Pathogens and Pediatric Health and Safety. From 1993 to 2000 Randy worked in Emergency Management for Southern California Edison. He has an Emergency Management degree from Cal State Los Angeles. He is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). He is trained in the Incident Command System 100, 200, 300 and 700. He has extensive experience in teaching Emergency Training, Search and Rescue, Life Safety Coordinator, Emergency Response Coordinators, Emergency Operation Center training, and ICS training for utilities. Since the year 2000, he has been the Fire Management Officer for Southern California Edison and designed and manages their Mobile Command Center. Randy conducts fire prevention education programs for children. The Big John Fire Safety Education program started in 1992 as a collaborative effort between Heart Plus and the Orange County Fire Services Association. The program has continued to teach over 4,000 children each year about the dangers of fire and how to be fire safe. Big John “talks” to children while his animated program magically emphasizes his message. This is a fun and unique way to educate children ages 2-9 about Fire Safety.
